A Religious Induction Church Service was on Sunday 1 October, 2017 held to induct Officers into Senior Staff Course 39 at the Hamidu Hall of the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC), Teshie.

Major PN Duodu, preaching under the theme “Study to Show Yourself Approved” urged the participants to take the course in earnest and strive to achieve the excellence the institution has been noted for.

The Imam, Sharfudeen A Kamany noted in his homily that, whatever happens in our existence has been decreed by Allah and therefore the participants should count themselves privileged to be nominated for the course.

The Guest of Honour for the occasion, Rear Admiral EA Bonsu in his speech emphasised on the need to show commitment to the course and urged the participants to adhere to the rules of the institution. He advised the participants not to relax since the course was a tedious one.

The participants were drawn from the Ghana Army, Ghana Navy, Ghana Air Force and Officers from other African Countries.
