ADJUTANT GENERAL OF NORTH DAKOTA NATIONAL GUARD CALLS ON DEFENCE MINISTER

The Adjutant General of the North Dakota National Guard, Major General Alan Dohrmann has expressed appreciation to the Ministry of Defence for the partnership in training between his country and Ghana.

The General thanked the Ministry and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) as a whole for training his personnel over the years. He stated that it was important to train with partners since it brings development to both militaries.

He assured the Minister he would strengthen the 14-year relationship between Ghana and the state of North Dakota, and enhance the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

Furthermore, Maj Gen Dohrmann expressed interest in an exchanged programme in the area of engineering which he said would be appropriate for disaster management. He mentioned this when he visited the Ministry.

Adding to this, the Minister for Defence, Hon Dominic Nitiwul said his Ministry values the relationship it has with the USA and North Dakota Army and called for more partnership to build the two militaries.
