The Chief Director, Dr Evans A Dzikum and the Head, Internal Audit Unit of the Ministry of Defence, Ms Regina Amoo were awarded by the Civil Service at this year’s Awards Night to climax the Civil Service Week Celebration. The Civil Service week is held annually to award performance, commitment and dedication to the Civil Service and by extension Mother Ghana. The event was under the theme; “Digitalization in the Civil Service of Ghana – An agenda for improved productivity and service delivery”.
HE the Vice President, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, who was the Guest of Honour for the ceremony, in his address, said that, the Civil Service has made a significant stride in digitalization which is a good step and commended the Head of the Civil Service. He urged the Service to put necessary measures in place to improve service delivery for the benefit of the country.
The Head of the Civil Service, Nana Agyekum-Dwamena thanked all civil servants for their dedication to work and encouraged them to continue to give off their best for the good and growth of country. He expressed gratitude to the Government for the support given to the Service and promised they will work harder to help its growth.
This is the fourth time the Chief Director, Dr Evans A Dzikum has received this award and the second time for Ms Regina Amoo. Congratulations to both of them.
