The Netherlands High Commissioner to Ghana, His Excellency Jeroen Verheul paid a courtesy call on the Minster for Defence, Hon Dominic Nitiwul at The Square.

The aim of the visit was to familiarize himself with the Minister and strengthen the existing bilateral ties between the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and The Netherlands’ military.

HE Verheul stated that, the Defence Cooperation Training between The Netherlands and Ghana resumed in March 2022, after the COVID-19 restriction hence giving Ghana the opportunity to participate once again. He stated that he is looking forward to solidify and strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the two countries and, that The Netherlands’ military is keen on working with the GAF.

Hon Nitiwul assured HE Jeroen Verheul of building a very good relationship with The Netherlands and to work with her military.
