Brigadier General Benjamin Amoah-Boakye Hands Over as Acting Judge Advocate General of the Ghana Armed Forces

The Acting Judge Advocate General of the Ghana Armed Forces, Brigadier General Benjamin Amoah-Boakye, has formally handed over duties to the incoming Acting Judge Advocate General, Brigadier General Charles Gbekle, at a brief handing-over and taking-over ceremony held at the Ministry.

In his farewell remarks, Brigadier General Amoah-Boakye expressed profound gratitude to the Acting Minister for Defence and the management of the Ministry for the opportunity to serve as the Principal Legal Adviser to the Minister. He also thanked the Ministry for the confidence reposed in him throughout his tenure and for the support he received in the discharge of his responsibilities.

Brigadier General Amoah-Boakye assured the Chief Director, Mr Emmanuel Kartey, of his continued support and commitment to ensuring a smooth transition and a seamless assumption of responsibilities by his successor.

The ceremony was witnessed by the Chief Director, Mr Emmanuel Kartey; the Principal General Staff Officer, Brigadier General Ben Gah; the Director Public Relations, Colonel Ernestina Assan; the Military Assistant to the Minister, Captain (GN) Michael Addo Larbi; the Army Liaison Officer, Colonel Yaw Owusu Appah; the Air Force Liaison Officer, Group Captain Janet Awuge Abdulai; the Navy Liaison Officer, Captain (GN) De-Graft Okyere -Manu and the Chaplain of the Ministry, Reverend Father Lieutenant Colonel Benjamin Effah.
